One time before I saved a copy of a recipe to the cloud and my local copy of the folder was gone.Drinking beer is one thing, everybody can do it, but crafting your own recipe or brewing successful beverages must be feeling more accomplishing. When I exited BS and returned, my "Recipe Workspace" folder and the couple other recipes in that folder were gone. I noticed that it saved 3 versions of my recipe. Today I was playing around with the water profile features of BS Mobile. It seems to be more related to a folder containing recipes getting deleted. I have seen some issues on mobile with losing some recipes. The "Brewday Timer" of BS is kind of useful as well. You can save a handful (10 or so) recipes to the Cloud storage with a free account, but you have to pay for a cloud account to save more than that.įor the most part I uses BS to formulate recipes and calc values (OG, water volumes, strike temps, etc.) then I transfer those to a Word document template on my computer where I record the "real" info about that specific batch. You don't get access to the desktop version. I suspect you will get bug fixes, but probably not an upgrade to BeerSmith 4 Mobile. So for app price ($8?) you get full use of the App for life.
